From the fall anime “The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window”, the outline and scenes from Episode 3 “Malediction” (broadcast on Sunday, October 17, 2021) have been released.

“The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window” is originally a best-selling manga by Yamashita Tomoko with over 2 million copies in circulation.
Mikado Kousuke, who has always been “seeing” spooky things, meets Hiyakawa Rihito, an exorcist who sees potential in him and forcibly makes him his occult detective partner. It is a new-style spiritual entertainment of “Horror x Mystery x Buddy Love”.

Episode 3 is titled “Malediction”.
Mikado and Hiyakawa come to investigate a “pond” at a house.
The client, the woman who owns the house, says that every night she dreams that she is a corpse floating in the “pond”. Mikado dives into the pond to investigate and sees the “heart” of the pond at the dimly lit bottom.

On the way home that day, “Hiura Erika” appears in front of Mikado and Hiyakawa during their dinner.
Erika reveals to them that she is a “necromancer” who works as a “curse maker”.
