From the TV anime “Blue Lock” (broadcast in 2022), the character visual of the protagonist Isagi Yoichi (voice: Ura Kazuki) “Visual of Egoist ― Isagi Yoichi” has been revealed.

“Blue Lock” is a football comic written by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and illustrated by Nomura Yusuke, which is currently serialized in “Weekly Shonen Magazine”. It has sold over 5.3 million copies in circulation and won “The 45th Kodansha Manga Award in The Shonen Category”.

The story follows the protagonist Isagi Yoichi, who is a nameless forward in high school but has a dream of becoming an ace striker of the Japanese team and winning the World Cup, participating in the project called “Blue Lock”, which was founded by the Japanese Football Union to train strikers that can lead Japan to a victory in the World Cup.

The character visual of Isagi Yoichi “Visual of Egoist ― Isagi Yoichi” has been revealed. The visual shows honesty of the protagonist, who decided to participate in the “Blue Lock” project to change his life, and his inner egoism.

“Blue Lock” is set to premiere in 2022.
