From the fall anime “Shikizakura”, the outline and sneak peek of episode 1 “Hope / Start” (broadcast on Sunday, October 10) have been unveiled.

“Shikizakura” is an original anime born in Nagoya (Tokai Area).
Set in Nagoya, the hero action story follows the protagonist Miwa Kakeru getting in the middle of a battle between Onis, who appear from a different world to feed on humans, and Yoroi, powered suits created by the fusion of an ancient alchemy and a cutting-edge technology.

Episode 1 is titled “Hope / Start”.
The story begins with the scene, where Miwa Kakeru in his childhood is looking at a shrine maiden’s dance in “Obara Town”, which is known as the place of Shikizakura, where autumn leaves and cherry blossoms are flourishing at the same season.
After 8 years, while Kakeru, as a high school student, is heading toward the Nagoya City Museum for a field trip, he encounters a mysterious girl Myojin Ouka, who has got lost. As he offers to show her the way, he ends up arriving late.

Even though Kakeru manages to arrive at the museum, he realizes something wrong is going on. The mysterious demonic creatures “Onis” have launched an assault.
Kakeru, who is running around to escape, is saved by a group of people dressing up in powered suits. However, the powered suits and Onis begin fighting against each other……

“Hope / Start”, episode 1 of “Shikizakura” will be sequentially broadcast on Chukyo TV, Nippon TV, etc., starting on October 10.
