Sakamoto Maaya, Nakahara Mai, Kobayashi Yu, Sugita Tomokazu, Koyasu Takehito, and others have been announced as additional cast members of the fall anime “Platinum End”
The additional cast for the TV anime “Platinum End”, including Sakamoto Maaya, Sasahara Yu, Nakahara Mai, Hamada Kenji, Kobayashi Yu, Ochiai Fukushi, Sugita Tomokazu, Koyasu Takehito, and Yara Yusaku, has been announced.
“Platinum End” is the TV anime based on the manga by Ohba Tsugumi and Obata Takeshi, known for “DEATH NOTE” and “Bakuman. A boy Kakehashi Mirai, who lost his family in an accident and had a hard time living with his relatives, received “hope to live” from an angel after attempting suicide by jumping from the building. A story of life and death starts.
The additional cast announced this time includes Sakamoto Maaya as the main character, Kakehashi Mirai in his childhood, Sasahara Yu as Mirai’s younger brother, Akira, Nakahara Mai as Mirai’s mother, Hamada Kenji as Mirai’s father, Kobayashi Yu as Mirai’s aunt, and Ochiai Fukushi as Mirai’s uncle.
In addition, Sugita Tomokazu as Tonma Rodriguez, the failed comedy talent who became a God candidate, Koyasu Takehito as second-rank angel Luta who chose Rodriguez Tonma as the God candidate, and Yara Yusaku will play the role of the old God…
The TV anime “Platinum End” will be on air on TBS, BS11, and other channels from October 7, 2021.
