The 2nd season of the TV anime “Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club” will be broadcast from April 2022. Along with the announcement, the key visual of the 2nd season has been unveiled.
“Love Live!” series is a multimedia school idol project that is being operated with the theme of “a story of realizing our dreams together”.
Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is a school idol that started in 2017, following µ’s and Aqours of “Love Live!” series.
The members belong to the school idol club at Nijigasaki High School located in Odaiba, Tokyo, and work together as both rivals and comrades to achieve individual dreams and become the No.1 school idols.
Along with the announcement of the 2nd season, the key visual and newly drawn illustration have been revealed.
The illustration features the existing members: Takasaki Yu (Voice: Yano Hinaki), Uehara Ayumu (Voice: Onishi Aguri), Nakasu Kasumi (Voice: Sagara Mayu), Osaka Shizuku (Voice: Maeda Kaori), Asaka Karin (Voice: Kubota Miyu), Miyashita Ai (Voice: Murakami Natsumi), Konoe Kanata (Voice: Kito Akari), Yuki Setsuna (Voice: Kusunoki Tomori), Emma Verde (Voice: Sashide Maria), and Tennoji Rina (Voice: Tanaka Chiemi).
In addition to them, 3 new members, Mifune Shioriko (Voice: Koizumi Moeka), Mia Taylor (Voice: Uchida Shu), and Zhong Lanzhu (Voice: Homoto Akina), have also been revealed. Please stay tuned for how they are involved in the 2nd story.
The 2nd season of “Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club” is scheduled to be broadcast from April 2022.
The key visual of Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 4th Live “~Love the Life We Live~” (scheduled for February 26-27, 2022) and the jacket illustration of their 4th album “L! L! L! (Love the Life We Live)” have also been revealed. Please check them out on the official website.
