The TV Anime “The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat” was announced to start broadcasting on October 6. Along the announcement, a promotional video and key visual were released. Full staff members and the additional cast, which includes Morikawa Toshiyuki, Takahashi Chiaki, Tamura Yukari, and Morita Junpei, were also revealed.

“The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat”, abbreviated as “Ansatsu Kizoku” in Japan, is based on the fantasy light novel about assassins by the author Tsukiyo Rui and currently being serialized by “Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko”. The world’s most prolific assassin on earth, who gets a second chance to live by being reborn in a parallel universe as the eldest son of an assassins aristocrat family. However, his resurrection comes under the condition that he undertakes the job of “killing the Hero, who is said to bring catastrophe to humanity”. The plot follows the assassin as the story progresses towards its climax.

The released main visual features the assassin protagonist, Lugh, on the center of the image, surrounded by the supporting characters: Dia, the most powerful magician in the world and Lugh’s childhood friend, Tarte, an assassination assistant maid, and Maha, the CEO of the firm established by Lugh.

The PV depicts the world’s greatest assassin being summoned by the goddess and being requested the assassination of the Hero, showing snippets of the anime’s plot unfolding.

Lugh’s father and head of the family Tuatha De, Cian, is voiced by Morikawa Toshiyuki, while Lugh’s mother, Ethilu, is voiced by Takahashi Chiaki.
Tamura Yukari voices the goddess who requests Lugh to “kill the Hero” in exchange for his reincarnation; and Morita Junpei voices the “World’s Finest Assassin”, who gets set up and killed by the organization to which he sworn loyalty when he was about to retire.
