TV anime ‘Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion’ announced a collaboration with the ‘Evangelion’ series in its 21st episode (broadcast on 9/17/2021). Shinji Ikari (CV: Megumi Ogata) will make an appearance in the episode.
‘Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion’ is a character content about the transforming shinkansen robots called ‘Shinkalion’ and their conductors.
The second TV series ‘Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z’ centers on the children who became conductors confronting the returning monster, working together with the institute staff members.
After making appearances in the previous work ‘Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinalion Z’ and ‘Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinalion Z the Movie’, Shinji Ikari will once again make an appearance in this series. The voice is to be played by Megumi Ogata, the same voice actor from the original ‘Evangelion’.
How will Shinji Ikari be depicted in the world of ‘Shinkalion Z’? Let’s wait and see.
‘Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z’ episode 21 broadcast date is scheduled for September 17. The new robot in the episode ‘Shinkalion Z 500 Mu Sky TYPE EVA’ will be available as a Plarail on December 4.

I hope the Evangelion fans enjoy this collaboration as a new form of “Eva”, and the Shinkalion fans enjoy seeing Shinkalion Z with that unique boy.
