A trailer for the 1st part of “Free! the Movie: The Final Stroke”, the latest work from the anime series “Free” featuring swimming produced by Kyoto Animation, has been unveiled.
“Free!”The series is produced by Kyoto Animation, and follows a team of boys who keep dedicating themselves to swimming to make their dream come true. Following the 1st TV series of “Free!” broadcast in 2013, a total of 3 TV series and 5 movies have been released so far.
“Free! the Movie: The Final Stroke”, which will be the final work from the series, depicts Haruka and the others challenging the world in two parts.
The trailer released this time gives a glimpse of a fierce battle in Sydney, which is the dream place that they visited before, and will be the new stage for Nanase Haruka and the others aiming to compete on a global stage.
The 1st part of “Free! the Movie: The Final Stroke”, which will be the final work from the series, will be released on September 17, 2021, followed by the 2nd part on April 22, 2022.
