The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray “EVANGELION:3.333” will be released on August 25, 2021. From part of its bonus footage, a making-of documentary titled “EVANGELION:3.333 Breakdown” has been unveiled.

Under the supervision of Anno Hideaki, “EVANGELION:3.333 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO.” (referred to below as “Evangelion: 3.333”) was produced by retaking the entire “Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo.”(released in 2012), which is its prequel in the “Rebuild of Evangelion” series, with high-definition images that were impossible to be achieved at that time, and received a new IMAX screening in January 2021 for a limited period. The “Evangelion: 3.333” will be released as 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.

In anticipation, “EVANGELION:3.333 Breakdown”, which is a making-of documentary that discomposed and recomposed the working process of shooting and special effects, has been unveiled from the included bonus footage. This is originally produced for the upcoming release, and allows you to take a glimpse of how the previous film has evolved into the newest form “Ｑ:3.333″.

Please enjoy the main video with the detailed expressions improved by reshooting, and adjusted scenes as 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray.
