From the TV anime “Getter Robo Arc”, the synopsis and sneak peek of the episode 5 “The Chosen Children” which was aired on August 1 (Sun) have been released.
“Getter Robo Arc” is the first film adaptation of the final chapter of the “Getter Robo Saga”, which depicts the fierce battle between three young men and the robots they board, as they confront an enemy that threatens the future of the earth and humanity with their steel bodies and passionate souls.
Directed by Kawagoe Jun, who also worked on “Shin Getter Robo vs. Neo Getter Robo” and “New Getter Robo,” the animation is produced by Bee Media of the OVA “Getter Robo” series and studioA-CAT of “LBX Girls”.
In episode 5, Takuma, Kamui, and Baku have a vision of a scene from 19 years ago. At the same time, in reality, the queen ant that invaded the Saotome Research Institute are manipulating a large army of bugs to reach the depths of the institute where the dragons are.
Takuma and his friends manage to get into the “Ark” by dodging the army of bugs flooding the passageway, but even the peacock of the defense system is taken over by the enemy.
The only way to stop the massive army of bugs is to open the lid of the Hell Kiln and release the Getter Ray. It was a life-threatening mission for Kamui.
Episode 5 “The Chosen Children” of “Getter Robo Arc” began airing on AT-X, TOKYO MX, and other stations on August 1, 2021 (Sun).
