“Big Comic Spirits”, a magazine which published a number of comics (“Maison Ikkoku”, “Oishinbo”, “Dance Dance Danseur”, etc.), and marked its 40th anniversary, will collaborate with an apparel brand “Design Tshirts Store graniph (hereafter ‘graniph’)”. A total of 10 designs of T-shirts inspired by “Big Comic Spirits” works will be released.
The designs for the “Big Comic Spirits” 40th anniversary commemorative collaboration items are inspired by 10 comic series; “Maison Ikkoku” by Takahashi Rumiko, “Oishinbo” by Kariya Tetsu and Hanasaki Akira, “Tokyo Love Story” by Saimon Fumi, “Tsurumoku Dokushin Ryou (Tsurumoku Bachelor Dormitory)” by Kubonouchi Eisaku, “Utsurun Desu.” by Yoshida Sensha, “Kekkon Afro Tanaka (“Marriage Afro Tanaka”)” by Noritsuke Masaharu, “Dead Dead Demon’s De De De De Destruction” by Asano Inio, “Aoashi” by Kobayashi Yugo, “Dance Dance Danseur” by George Asakura, and “Asadora!” by Urasawa Naoki.
Each item is priced at 2,750 JPY (incl. tax). Pre-orders are available on “graniph” official website until noon on August 13, and the release date will be on August 17.
