“Mashin Hero Wataru: The Seven Spirits of Ryunjinmaru” Announces Remastered Edition Anime with Bonus Scenes
A special remastered version of the anime “Mashin Hero Wataru: The Seven Spirits of Ryunjinmaru”, currently streaming on YouTube, was announced and will rearrange all 9 episodes, combined with newly added scenes.
In addition to the announcement a teaser visual displaying Wataru and Toraoh was also revealed. Further details are yet to be revealed.
What is “Mashin Hero Wataru: The Seven Spirits of Ryujinmaru”?
It is the latest entry in the adventure fantasy series “Mashin Hero Wataru”, created by Sunrise.
Following the broadcast of the first installment “Mashin Hero Wataru” in 1988, the series sequels “Mashin Hero Wataru 2” was released in 1990, and “Super Mashin Hero Wataru” in 1997. This shows that the series was loved from all generations, from the Showa Era to the Heisei Era and Reiwa Era.
The Seven Spirits of Ryunjinmaru streamed in April 2020, and was praised for bringing back the original voicing cast, and making use of the series’ original soundtrack music.
“METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE Ryujinmaru” Released!
“DRAGON SCALE Ryujinmaru”, created by BANDAI SPIRITS, brings to life the robot as a figure under the Chogokin series’ spinoff line “METAL BUILD”, which will be celebrating its 10 years.
The figure is made from die-cast parts with diverse textures, featuring mobile joints and the internal machinery structure, making it so far the highest quality Ryunjimaru figure to ever be released.
The intricate design made specially by Shintani Manabu (responsible for the mechanical designs of “Mashin Hero Wataru: The Seven Spirits of Ryujinmaru”), the die-cast body, the plating, and the translucent parts; all of it created the most gorgeous and greatest Ryunjimaru figure .
