The 2021 extra August issue of “Tabi to Tetsudo (Travel and Railroad),” “Shin Evangelion and Railroad,” featuring the railroad scenes from “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time,” was released on July 27, 2021.
“Shin Evangelion and the Railroad” is the second issue, following the “Evangelion and the Railroad” issue published in January 2021.
It thoroughly covers the railroad cars depicted in “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time” and places said to be models, such as the Village-3, which is spread out in a place that looks like a railroad base, the area around Ubeshinkawa Station on the JR Ube Line, and the half-steel train that Shinji and Gendo rode.
In addition, all the stamps from the “JR East Stamp Collecting,” which was regrettably cancelled due to the declaration of a state of emergency and ended up not being on a market, are published in the magazine, and all 50 stations stamps with plenty of lines from the movie are on the magazine, making this highly coveted by “Evangelion” fans.
“Shin Evangelion and the Railroad” is now on sale for 1,320 JPY (tax included).
