The first performance of unannounced “Hercules” songs by Namikawa Daisuke & Katou Kazuki! The live report on the special online performance of “Disney Koe no Ouji-sama”

The special online performance “Disney Koe no Ouji-sama Voice Stars Dream Live Streaming 2021” featuring gorgeous voice actors, including Kimura Ryouhei, Shimazaki Nobunaga, Morikubo Showtaro, and Namikawa Daisuke, singing the famous songs of Disney, was held on July 22.

This performance contains the scenes taken from the performances on April 11, at World Memorial Hall, Kobe, Hyogo and on June 13, at Pia Arena MM, Kanagawa, with the addition of the performance by the special guest. This performance had gathered the all start cast members, including Itou Kento, Ueda Keisuke, Urata Wataru, Ohta Motohiro, Okamiya Kurumu, Kimura Ryouhei, Shimazaki Nobunaga, Nakada Hiroki, Nakamura Shuugo, Miura Hiroki, and Morikubo Showtaro together with the two guests, Katou Kazuki and Namikawa Daisuke.

While the audience is waiting for the start of the performance, they were shown with the various famous scenes of Disney’s Animation and the lineup of the participating voice actors. And the performance started while the comment and Twitter are filled with the chanting of the cast members.

Ohta Motohiro, Nakamura Shuugo, and Morikubo Showtaro in the blue-grey base prince outfit appeared on the glittering, solemn castle stage set. They performed “Once Upon A Dream” (From “Sleeping Beauty”) together with the fated scene of Prince Phillip meeting Princess Aurora in the background, and it attracted the audiences to the world of dreams.

Then, Itou Kento had sung “Out There” (From “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”) majestically that charms anyone who heard it, followed by Okamiya Kurumu’s “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” (From “Lion King”) in the deep gentle singing voice. With this, it caused the audience to be spellbound by them.

After that, the fantasy-like stage was consists of the recital of “The Legend of the Lamp” (From “Aladdin”) and singing of “Arabian Nights” (From “Aladdin”) by Kimura Ryouhei that attract the audience. The next performance was Urata Wataru’s “One Jump Ahead” (From “Aladdin”) with his shape-shifting voice tone and the cheerful rhythm.

The next song from “Aladdin” is “Whole New World” by Nakata Hiroki together with the scene of Aladdin bringing Jasmine on the magic carpet ride. This radiant performance has charmed the audience. After that, it was the performance of the first male version of “Speechless” (From the live-action “Aladdin”) sung tremendously by Miura Hiroki that you can’t avert your eye off.

Then, Shimazaki Nobunaga performed “Compass of Your Heart” (Sindbad’s Storybook Voyage at Tokyo DisneySea (R)) while clapping his hands with a dazzling smile. The tremendous world has change if he is navigating on the great sea.

The second half of the performance started with the recital of “Beauty and the Beast” by Kimura Ryouhei, Urata Wataru, Ohta Motohiro, and Miura Hiroki, and the performance of “Something There” (From “Beauty and the Beast”) by Ueda Keisuke has throbbed the audience with the cheerful rhythm and his mellow singing voice.

The next song was “Beauty and the Beast” (From “Beauty and the Beast”) by Itou Kento and Miura Hiroki. They sang it charmingly together with the dance scenes of the emotional dancing scene of Belle and Beast.

That was followed by Nakamura Shuugo, in the refreshing light blue and silver clothing with the image of the sea, performing “Under the Sea” (From “Little Mermaid”), which livened up the audience with the optimistic sound and light dance. Then, the atmosphere was changed by the bewitching melody and the one who appeared out of the smoke was Morikubo Showtaro. The audience was once again being attracted to a dark world filled with the villain’s charm via “Poor Unfortunate Souls” (From “Little Mermaid”).

After that, the world of “Little Mermaid” was continued with “Part of Your World” by Urata Wataru and Shimazaki Nobunaga, who are singing in sync with gentle smiles. With the sound of the wave and the piano, Ohta Motohiro appeared and sang “How Far I’ll Go” (From “Moana”) gently and refreshingly.

With this, it is the time for the special stage that was revealed for the first time. It started with the recital of “Hercules”, an adventure story of love and bravery of Hercules, who wanted to be a “True Hero”, by Namikawa Daisuke. He has attracted the audience to the world of “Hercules” with the several sounds that are created by his single voice.

After that, the theme song “Go the Distance” (the theme song of “Hercules”) by Katou Kazuki was performed tremendously with his beautiful voice, and it was followed with “Shooting Start” (From “Hercules”) by Katou as well. The performance of the Japanese lyric of “Shooting Stars” the song that was not used in the film but is a hidden famous song among the Disney fan, was shown for the first time.

While being overflowed by the comments filled with happiness and excitement, the audience has reached their peak by the beautiful duet of Katou and Namikawa.

After that, the performance has reached its final stretch. The Tokyo performance of “Feel the Love” from Tokyo DisneySea (R)’s Teatime Harbor Show’s The Legend of Mythica (Until 2014) that was performed on a grand scale and loved by many fans, was performed by all the 10 cast members, who were dressed in the silver radiant prince outfit. This performance with the fantasy-like, dynamic sound and singing voice had excited the audience.

For the greeting from all the cast members, Okamiya said “I hope this will become the best day for everyone!”, Shimazaki said, “Please wave your heart’s penlight!”, and Morikubo said “This is not the end yet!”, and the audience got hyped up by each cast member.

The finale was the famous song that everyone has hummed before, “It’s a Small World” (From New York World Fair) and “Mickey Mouse March” (From Mickey Mouse Club).

Prior to this performance, the footage with the choreography of this song was released. With this, the audience is able to dance in front of the screen together with all the cast members, who are performing energetically together with Mickey Mouse’s posture. While being overflowed with the comments filled with the lingering excitement, the curtain descended reluctantly.

The archive streaming ticket of “Disney Koe no Ouji-sama Voice Stars Dream Live Streaming 2021” is available until 9:00 PM, on July 29. It was also decided that the Blu-ray that contains the live situation of the arena tour with extravagant video novelty will be released on November 19, 2021.
