The outline and sneak peek of episode 4 “The Duke, Alice, and Memories of Snow” (Broadcast date: July 25, 2021) of the TV anime “The Duke of Death and His Maid” have been revealed. The broadcast of episode 1 and 3 with audio commentary have been decided.
“The Duke of Death and His Maid” is based on the manga by Inoue that is currently serialized on “Sunday Webry”. The series has exceeded 1.4 million copies in circulation and it is a popular work on social media.
The characters are “Duke of Death”, who is living his life in solitude as he was rejected by his surroundings due to his curse, and “Alice”, the maid who served him. This is a rom-com featuring Duke of Death troubled over the reverse sexual harassment by Alice as well as the allure of Alice in a close distance.
The title of episode 4 is “The Duke, Alice, and Memories of Snow”.
The duke is feeling a bit awkward after he rejected the kiss from Alice. At the same time, because of that, Alice is acting more like a stranger than usual.
After a few days, when everyone was having a snow fight, Alice had lost the earring that she was keeping as her mother’s memento. After seeing Alice feeling down, Duke plans to search for it at night, but he passed out in the snowstorm…
Episode 4 “The Duke, Alice, and Memories of Snow” of “The Duke of Death and His Maid” was broadcast on July 25, 2021 (Sunday), on TOKYO MX, Yomiuri TV, BS11, and other channels.
The broadcast of episode 1 and 3 with audio commentary have been decided.
For episode 1, Hanae Natsuki (voice of Duke) and Mano Ayumi (voice of Alice) will be featured while for episode 3, Okuda Gen and Watanabe Takeshi, who are in charge of the music, will be featured together with the two main casts.
