July 24th is Telework Day.
Telework Day was established in 2017, to ease congestion during the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics and to promote remote work nationwide. The date was set for July 24 since the Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony was originally planned for July 24th, 2020.
Teleworking has spread due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some might find it harder to communicate remotely or to make a distinction between work and private life. Working from home might not be easy for everyone.
So, Anime! Anime! took a reader survey titled “Which character seems to be good at “working remotely?”. We got answers from 105 readers from July 7th to 14th. For gender ratio, there were more answers from female readers since female readers account for 77%, while male readers account for 25%. For the age ratio, we received answers mostly from young readers, the age group under 19 accounts for 50%, and 20’s accounts for 35%.
