It has over 50 million copies in circulation with 16 volumes at this point.
The first film adaptation of the series, which will be released on December 24, 2021, is based on the prequel of “Jujutsu Kaisen”, “Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School” (a.k.a. Vol. 0).
The reference images of Zen’in Maki, Inumaki Toge, and Panda, who appear in the TV anime series as reliable 2nd-year students of “Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School”, as freshmen have been released. They will be the classmates of Okkotsu Yuuta, who is transferred to the school in the film.
Zen’in Maki has a different hairstyle and uniform from the TV anime series, as well as her trademark glasses.
Inumaki Toge has a significantly different hairstyle from the original manga “Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School”. Following Okkotsu Yuuta, the anime designed him for the film, reflecting the wishes of the author, Akutami Gege.
