The first film directeddirected film by the illustrator, loundraw, “Summer Ghost” will be released on the theatres on November 12. The first trailer that highlights the detailed drawing has been revealed, and the comments from Kobayashi Chiaki, the voice of the main male character, Sugisaki Tomoya have been released.

Lloundraw is an illustrator know for the background of “I want to eat your pancreas” and the image board of the “Detective Conan” movie series.

“Summer Ghost”, the first film directeddirected film by loundraw, is a modern youth drama that started from a single illustration. This work depicts the unforgettable “Encounter inon a certain summer” about the main protagonists, which are the high school students, fateful encounter with the “Summer Ghost”, the spirit of a young girl from an urban legend.

The first trailer of this film has maximized the allures of loundraw, which are the delicateness and the translucencetranslucent. On top of that, the music by Kosemura Akira, known for his piano’s songs and also active internationally.

My first impression of the movie “Summer Ghost” is an “anime that is not like an anime”. The director loundraw mentioned that “I don’t watch to depict something pretty, I want to depicted the people who are living now frankly”, and this movie is exactly as what he said it would be.
“Summer Ghost” will bring out various expressions out from various people as well as give out different opinion and impression based on the person’s age and occupation. As this movie might make you think of questions about the life you are living nowquestions for living as well as the thoughts of ‘What the purpose of living is?’…I actually like it if people with thosethat thoughts to watch this movie”
