Gojo Satoru of “Jujutsu Kaisen” might be choosen as a souvenir! Kyoto ramune, monaka, and other Japanese sweets!

From “Jujutsu Kaisen” comes Kyo-Ramune, Monaka and other Japanese sweets with miniature characters of Gojo Satoru and Itadori Yuuji printed on them. Pre-orders are now being taken at Village Vanguard Online.
The lineup consists of four types of sweets: “Kyo-Ramune + Kompeito Set”, “Monaka”, “Houzui”, and “Hojicha (3 teabags)”. The sweets are printed with deformed illustrations of Gojo Satoru, Itadori Yuuji, Fushiguro Megumi, and Kugisaki Nobara.

The “Kyo-Ramune” confectionary is made with high-grade wasanbon-to sugar from Tokushima Prefecture and Yoshino-Kuzu from Nara Prefecture, and is made with time and effort based on the rakugan (hard candy) method. It has a crunchy texture, followed by a gentle flavor with a mildly chewy finish.

The “Monaka” comes with the shell and bean paste separated, so you can adjust the amount of bean paste to your liking when you want to eat it.

Unlike regular marshmallows, “Houzui” are a rare treat in Japan. The main ingredient is a special grade agar produced in Japan, which gives it a fluffy yet chewy texture.
The white colored ones have a vanilla flavor, while the yellow colored ones have a yuzu flavor.

The “Hojicha (3 teabags)” is an excellent blend of Kuki Hojicha, which is made from the fragrant Kuki tea from the first tea leaves of the Tamagawa area in the upper reaches of the Abe River that runs through Shizuoka City, and Hojicha, which is made from carefully selected, deep-roasted (high-temperature roasted) tea leaves from the Tamagawa area that have a good aroma and taste.

The price of the “Kyo-Ramune + Kompeito set” is 864 JPY (tax included). The price of the “Monaka” is 972 JPY (tax included). The price of the “Houzui” is 1,404 JPY (tax included). The “Hojicha (3 teabags)” is priced at 648 JPY (tax included).
All products are currently available for pre-order at Village Vanguard Online and will be shipped in late August or early September 2021.
