It was announced that the broadcast of the TV anime “The Rising of the Shield Hero” Season 2 has been delayed from the original schedule of October 2021 to April 2022.
“The Rising of the Shield Hero” is based on the fantasy story of the Otaku university student, Iwatani Naofumi, who got summoned to another world as the “Shield Hero”, raising back up after facing the desperate situation at the start of the great journey.
Season 1, consists of 25 episodes, was broadcast from January 2019 to June 2019, and the production of season 2 and 3 was announced in September 2019.
It was announced that the TV anime “The Rising of the Shield Hero” Season 2, which was scheduled to be broadcast in October 2021, will be delayed. Due to certain circumstances, the broadcast date is delayed to April 2022. The detailed date will be announced once decided.
