The rumored TV anime “Uramichi Oniisan”, featuring popular voice actors, such as Kamiya Hiroshi, Sugita Tomokazu, and Nakamura Yuuichi, will be releasing the video on learning “SDGs”. The narration of this promotion video is the voice actor Kamiya Hiroshi, the voice of Omota Uramichi.
“Uramichi Oniisan” has Uramichi Omota (known as Uramichi Onii-san), who is working as a gymnastics coach on the educational program “Together with Mama” as the main protagonist and it depicts a “retrospective” tragic eulogy for the child that has become an adult.
This time, Usao-kun and Kumao-kun from “Uramichi Oniisan” will be jumping out of “Together with Mama” and will be learning about SDGs together with cooperation of the Global Issues Cooperation Division of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This project will be delivered in seven videos.
This will be an interesting project for those who already know about SDGs and yet to know about it.
SDGs is part of the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” that was agreed by all the members in the United Nations General Assembly in September 2015, and the objective is to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all people and the world by 2030. It consists of 17 goals with 169 targets with the pledge of “leave no one behind” on Earth.
“1st Promotion Video of SDGs X ‘Uramichi Oniisan'” will be released on June 23, 2021, on YouTube and Twitter sequentially.
