From TV anime “Fruits Basket” The Final, it was revealed that Hosoya Yoshimasa will play Honda Katsuya, the character appearing in episode 12 “You did well” (scheduled on Monday, June 21). Moreover, the scene cut for episode 12 for Honda Kyouko (CV: Sawashiro Miyuki) and Honda Katsuya has been released.
The original work of “Fruits Basket” is the girls manga by Takaya Natsuki, which was serialized in “Hanayume” from 1998 to 2006. The sale has marked over 30 million copies around the world, and there is still continuous support from the fans even after the serialization had ended more than 10 years ago. The 1st season was broadcast from April 2019 and 2nd season was broadcast from April 2020. “The Final” is the last chapter of the series.
It was announced that Hosoya Yoshimasa will be playing Honda Katsuya, who is the father of Honda Tooru in episode 12. Moreover, the scene cut released for episode 12 captures the youth of Honda Kyouko and Honda Katsuya.
At the last of episode 12, Katsuya gives hands to Kyoko, who has just woken up, facing the ocean in front of them. Kyoko begins to cry with smiles on her face after receiving “You did well” from him.
As the series approaches to the climax, the comments from the fans said, “I cant stop crying”, “I have never been moved this much by any other anime”, and “I don’t want this to end”.
TV anime “Fruits Basket” The Final episode 12 “You did well” will be broadcast from Monday June 21, 2021 on TV Tokyo and other channels. The final episode 13 will be broadcast on the next week.
