The new movie from “The Prince of Tennis” series, “Ryoma! The Prince of Tennis: The New Theatrical Version”, will be in theaters on September 3.
The second part of “New Movie Release Celebration ‘The Prince of Tennis: National Convention’ Selection”, which has been airing since April, will start on June 29th, along with two special commemorative programs airing before and after the anime.
The airing of “New Movie Release Celebration ‘The Prince of Tennis: National Convention’ Selection”, scheduled to air on June 29th, includes “The Prince of Tennis OVA National Convention: Semifinal” and “The Prince of Tennis OVA National Convention: Final”.
The fierce battle between Ryoma and the other members of Seigaku, who have advanced to the semifinals of the national tournament, Shiten-hoji, the leading team in Kansai led by Kuranosuke Shiraishi, and Rikkai, led by the champion Seiichi Yukimura, will air on TV.
“Ryoma! The Prince of Tennis: The New Theatrical Version” will depict the events happening right after the “Final”, in a completely original story created by the original author, Takeshi Konomi himself.
It would be a good opportunity for fans to watch Ryoma’s majestic figure on TV before watching the new movie.
In addition, the August 31 and September 7 broadcasts of “New Movie Release Celebration “The Prince of Tennis: National Convention” Selection” will be preceded and followed by a special program. The content and details of the program will be announced on the official website and The Prince of Tennis official Twitter account.
