“SHOW BY ROCK!! -DOkonjo Kita Gakuen Hen- Yoru to Kuro no Reflection (Dokonjo North Academy Ver. Reflection of Night and Black)” will be playing at The Galaxy Theatre in Tennozu, Tokyo, from August 19 to 29, 2021.
“SHOW BY ROCK!!” is the first band-themed project, featuring “the characters for game and anime fans”, produced by Sanrio in 2012. TV anime adaptations were released in 2015, 2016, and 2017, and a stage performanceplay in 2016.
The latest work features “DOKONJOFINGER (Dokoyubi)”, a band composed of the four most disastrous four students at Dokonjo Kita Academy, a jungle where only the strong survive. Also, “Yokazenohorizon” and “Kuronoatomosphere” will appear. The members for “Dokoyubi” have been announced to be Sakata Ryuichiro, Hayato, Takamoto Gaku, and Raita, for “Yokazenohorizon”, Takahashi Ryoya, Tamura Shogo, etc., for Kuronoatomosphere, Takemoto Yusuke, Tahori Leo, etc.
The director/playwright will be Yamazaki Akira (“Warui Shibai”), known for winning “Satou Sakichi Award Grand Prize, Screenplay of the Year” and “OMS Drama Award”. Choreography will be handled by Goto Takeru, who is active as a performer. Hayashiya Yoji will continue to be responsible for the other special effects such as musical instruments.
