Hosoda Mamoru’s latest film “Belle: The Dragon and the Freckled Princess” is scheduled to be released in July 2021. Morikawa Toshiyuki, Tsuda Kenjirou, Koyama Mami, and Miyano Mamoru were announced as additional cast members.
The film is the latest work of Hosoda Mamoru, the animation film director from “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time” and “Summer Wars”.
Set in the world of the internet, Suzu, who lost her mother as a child which left a scar in her heart, joins the humongous internet virtual world , where over 5 billion people from all over the world gather together. As the diva “Belle”, she becomes a global superstar with her beautiful singing voice.

Astonishing voice actors: Morikawa Toshiyuki, Tsuda Kenjirou, Koyama Mami, and Miyano Mamoru were announced as additional cast members.
Morikawa Toshiyuki as Justin, the leader of the vigilante group Justice who wants to unmask the dragon that disrupts the order of , and Tsuda Kenjirou as Jelinek, the modern art artist who is suspected to be “the dragon”.
Koyama Mami as Swan, the lady who lives in a mansion, another suspect of “the dragon”, and Miyano Mamoru will be taking on two roles: Hitokawa Muitarou and Gutto Koraemaru, the Youtubers who hypes up the “search of the identity of the dragon”.
Morikawa and Miyano have commented about their appearance in the film.
“Belle: The Dragon and the Freckled Princess” is scheduled to be in nationwide Toho theaters from July 2021.
