“Scarlet Nexus”, an anime adaptation, based on an upcoming game developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment and produced by Sunrise (“Gundam” series), will be released on July 1, 2021. The first PV and key visual have also been revealed.
“Scarlet Nexus” is baes on an upcoming game with the same name developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment, which is reputed to be a “brain punk action RPG”.
The story is set in 2020 on the new calendar, where most humans are born with “brain power” which allows them to utilize their thought and consciousness to affect the outside world.
The story depicts Yuito Sumeragi and Kasane Randall being caught up in a cruel twist of fate. They belong to the Other Suppression Force (OSF), which consists of “people with supernatural abilities”, and are tasked to suppress creatures known as the Others.
Along with the first PV and key visual, new characters and illustration of the Others have also been revealed. The cast members will be the same as the game.
“Scarlet Nexus” will be broadcast at TOKYO MX and other stations from 10:30 p.m. on July 1.
