From the TV anime “Kingdom”, the synopsis and sneak peek of Episode 6 “A Mutual Self-Confidence” aired on May 9 (Sun), 2021 have been released.

“Kingdom” is based on a Chinese Warring States Romance serialized by Hara Yasuhisa in “Weekly Young Jump”.
Set in China during the Spring and Autumn Warring States Period, the story follows the exploits of a young boy named Shin, who aims to become the greatest general in the world, and a young king named Eisei, who will later become the First Emperor.

The first series of the TV anime aired on NHK BS Premium from June 2012 to February 2013, and the second series from June 2013 to March 2014. The third series, which visualized the “Coalition Army Arc”, said to be the largest battle in the history of “Kingdom”, started in April 2020, but the broadcast was postponed after the 5th episode. The broadcast started again from the first episode on April 4, 2021.

The title of Episode 6 is “A Mutual Self-Confidence”.
Méng Tián and Wang Ben of the Qin army, Xiang Yi and Bai Li of the Chu army meet each other, leading their respective armies. These young generals are at each other’s throats on the battlefield!

On the other hand, Lǜ Wu Wei, a former commander of the Qin army, is fighting against Lord Lin Wu, the leader of the First Army of the State of Chu, has absolute confidence in his own military prowess, and is forced to fight an uphill battle against Lord Lin Wu, who has been through a lot. Then, Teng, the second-in-command who was recognized by the great general Wang Qii and took over the army after his death, appears.
Teng and Lord Lin Wu ― the battle for each other’s self-confidence begins!
