It was announced that Nojima Kenji is the new cast member for the TV anime “Moriarty the Patriot”, where the 2nd cour is currently being broadcast and his comments have been released. Also, the outline of episode 17 has been released.

“Moriarty the Patriot” is based on the same-name manga with the composition by Takeuchi Ryosuke and the manga is by Miyoshi Hikaru that is serialized on Shueisha “Jump SQ.”.
The story takes place in the 19th century of England when the country thrives due to the Industrial Revolution and it depicts William James Moriarty’s plan to create an ideal country by destroying the rotten system, where people are bind by the rank that was decided since birth.

It was announced that the new cast member Nojima Kenji will be voicing Charles Augustus Milverton, the king of the mass media that manipulates various information via newspaper and advertisement. Not only is he good at collecting information, but he is also the “King of manipulation” as he can control various people with information and their consciousness.
Nojima’s comments were released along with this announcement.

In episode 17 “The Riot in New Scotland Yard”, William and the others were arrested as the culprits of the “Jack the Ripper” incidence that should have been solved.

However, Lestrade was suspicious as inspector Mose said that is was a false charge and he requested Sherlock to search for evidences, which is the hidden ledger after getting advice from his colleague, Patterson. On the other hand, Patterson got in contact with Bonde as he helped Bonde to infiltrate the inner part of the Scotland Yard…

Episode 17 “The Riot in New Scotland Yard” of the TV anime “Moriarty the Patriot” was broadcast at 10:30 PM, on May 9, 2021, on TOKYO MX and other channels.

Nojima Kenji’s comments
I immediately attended the recording session after I received the offer, and since this is my first recording, I didn’t have much time to read the original work and only rely on the online information board and script to create my role. Even after I had received some guidance from the director and trying out the various methods, I am unable to get into the role properly. However, when I requested “I have grasped the output, so please guide me on the input” to the director, he guides me on the personality of the character, and it went well afterward. It was quite difficult, but I appreciate this good experience from the extravagance recording session.
This will be a memorable role. So, please look forward to it.
