‘The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’ is a spin-off anime series of ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’ in which the main character, who was reincarnated as a slime in a parallel universe, builds up a circle of friends with his wisdom and courage. The spin-off depicts Rimuru and friends’ humorous everyday life.
Episode 5 is titled ‘Return of the Summer Festival’. Rimuru wants to hold a Japanese-style summer festival even in the parallel universe. Rimuru and the magical creatures get together and start to prepare yukata, Bon dance, fireworks, and stall stands for takoyaki and shaved ice.
Episode 5 ‘Return of the Summer Festival’ for ‘The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’ will be on TOKYO MX and other streaming services on May 4, 2021.
