The production of ‘Walpurgis no Kaiten’, the latest movie from ‘Madomagi’, has been announced! The teaser movie has also been released
At “‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica’ Anniversary Stage” on April 25, 2021, the production of “Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Movie ” has been announced. The teaser visual and movie have also been revealed.
“Puella Magi Madoka Magica” is an original anime with a total of 12 episodes broadcast from January 2011, depicting a magical girl story beginning from a mysterious encounter that Kaname Madoka has. It received widespread critical acclaim for its complex narrative in contrast with the cute visuals.
“Walpurgis no Kaiten” is a sequel to “Rebellion” released in 2013. The main staff members will be Shinbo Akiyuki (general director), Urobuchi Gen (scriptwriter), Aoki Ume (character design), and Shaft (animation production). The same cast members as the TV anime and preceding films will continue as well, including Yuki Aoi, Saitou Chiwa, Mizuhashi Kaori, Kitamura Eri, Nonaka Ai, Asumi Kana, Katou Emiri, and others.
Along with the announcement, the teaser visual and movie, featuring an illustration newly drawn by Taniguchi Junichirou (character design), have been revealed.
The release date of “Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Movie ” is not determined yet. Please look forward to further information.
