It was announced that the film “A Silent Voice”, based on Ooima Yoshitoki’s manga, will be broadcast during the 2021 Golden Week holidays on NHK General TV on April 29.
The film “A Silent Voice” is a theatrical anime based on Ooima Yoshitoki’s manga of the same title. It was directed by Yamada Naoko of “K-On!” and received several awards including the Best Animation of the Year at the Japan Academy Film Prize. The cast members include Irino Miyu and Hayami Saori.
Also, episodes 1 to 3 of “To Your Eternity”, another anime based on Ooima Yoshitoki’s manga, will be broadcast from midnight on May 2. It is a special program to get you ready for Episode 4 “Ookina Utsuwa” (A Large Vessel). You can catch up to the main broadcast even if you missed the first showing.
The film “A Silent Voice” will be broadcast from 3:35 p.m. on April 29, and the re-run marathon of “To Your Eternity” will be broadcast from 0:35 a.m. on May 2, both on NHK General TV.
