42 days since its release, “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time” (released on March 8, 2021) has recorded a total of 7.7 billion JPY in gross revenue with a total of 5 million viewers.
“Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time” is the latest as well as the finale of the “Rebuild of Evangelion” series, which was released in 2007 and it is the sequel to “You Are (Not) Alone”, “You Can (Not) Advance.”, and “You Can (Not) Redo”.
After being postponed several times, it was finally released nationwide on March 8 after undergoing the necessary steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
After being released for 42 days, it has recorded a total of 7,799,314,050 JPY in term of gross revenue with a total of 5,088,007 viewers. With this, it has once again overwritten the highest record of this series.
