“Osamake: Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won’t Lose” is based on the romance comedy light novel written by Nimaru Shuichi, illustrated by Shigure Ui, and published by “Dengeki Bunko” that has exceeded a total of 800,000 copies in circulation.
Recently, childhood friend heroine has a very high rate of being the “losing heroine” in the romance comedy work, so “Osamake: Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won’t Lose” was created to all childhood friend’s fans, who wish for the childhood friend character to win the heroine race once in a while.

In winter during his first year of high school, the main protagonist Maru Suehara falls in love with his schoolmate, Shirokusa Kachi, the genius novelist.
As this was his first love, time passes without him taking any actions, and while he is being teased by his bad friend Kai Tetsuhiko and his childhood friend Shida Kuroha, he happened to hear that Shirokusa has a boyfriend.
Suehara becomes depressed as his heart broke before he gets to confess. Then, the plan that Kuroha advises him is “Haru, let’s have revenge–“.
