From the TV Anime “Megalo Box 2: Nomad”, the outline and scenes from Episode 2 “Zetsubou wa Okubyoumono ni Yuuki wo Ataeru” (Despair gives courage to the coward), broadcast on Sunday, April 11, 2021, were released in advance.
“Megalo Box 2: Nomad”, is the sequel of “Megalo Box”, an anime based on “Ashita no Joe”, broadcast in 2018 in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the classic boxing manga written by Takamori Asao (Kajiwara Ikki) and illustrated by Chiba Tetsuya.
Episode 2 is titled “Zetsubou wa Okubyoumono ni Yuuki wo Ataeru”.
Joe’s bike is stolen by a delinquent named Mio.
Joe, in search of his bike, arrives at “Casa”, a community village of immigrants.
However, the bike had already been scrapped. Mio’s mother, Marla, says she would repair the bike and pay for the damage, but Joe collapses from the fatigue of the long journey and withdrawal symptoms of the painkillers.
“Megalo Box 2: Nomad” Episode 2 “Zetsubou wa Okubyoumono ni Yuuki wo Ataeru” was broadcast on Tokyo MX from 11:00 p.m. April 4, 2021.
