The 1st PV of the fall 2021 anime “Taishou Otome Otogibanashi” has been revealed for the first time at the Pony Canyon online streaming booth stage of “Anime Japan 2021”.
“Taishou Otome Otogibanashi” is based on the manga by Kirioka Sana that was published by Shueisha’s “Jump Comics”. It is a nostalgic love story sets in the Taisho era.
This work is the last work announced at the Pony Canyon online streaming booth stage of “Anime Japan 2021”. The main cast members Kobayashi Yuusuke (voice of Shima Tamahiko) and Aizawa Saya (voice of Tachibana Yuzuki) have appeared dressed in kimono to match the image of the characters.
Moreover, the kimono that Aizawa is dressed in is from the “Taisho era” that was prepared with the cooperation of Shimizu Toki Kimono Academy. The audience were surprise by this announcement.
Other than Tamahiko and Yuzuki in motion, the 1st PV has also announced the additional cast members, including Miyamoto Yume as the voice of Shima Tamako, Anzai Chika as the voice of Atsumi Ryou, Itou Ayasa as the voice of Shiratori Kotori, and Toki Junichi as the voice of Shiratori Hakaru. Toki, who is the MC of the stage event, has also expressed his happiness.
TV anime “Taishou Otome Otogibanashi” will start broadcasting in fall 2021.
