The production of the sequel of the TV anime “Dr.STONE” has been announced. At the same time, a special PV with the latest footage has been revealed.
“Dr.STONE” is based on the same-name written by Inagaki Riichiro, and drawn by Boichi that is currently serialized on “Weekly Shounen Jump”. In the past, it has taken the 2nd place in the manga category of “Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taisho 2018” and the winner of the Shounen’s manga category of “Shogakukan Manga Award”.
The 2nd season that started in January 2021 depicts the conclusion of the battle between the Kingdom of Science led by Senku and Tsukasa Empire. The setting for the sequel will take place on the sea as they enter the Age of Exploration. This is the latest adventure of Senku and the others as they challenge unknown worlds.
The special footage contains the latest footage that was shown in the final episode of the season 2.
