A teaser visual of the anime adaptation of “Requiem of the Rose King” has been released. The information about the main staff was also announced.
“Requiem of the Rose King” is a dark fantasy serialized in “Monthly Princess” (Akita Shoten) by Kanno Aya based on “Henry VI” and “Richard III”.
The story is set in medieval England, during the Wars of the Roses, where the House of York of the white rose and the House of Lancaster of the red rose fight over which has the right to the throne.
With the secret of being intersex, the third son of the House of York, Richard, is driven by his cruel destiny.
The TV anime adaptation will be directed by Suzuki Kentarou (TV Anime “Angels of Death”), with Uchida Yuuki as story editor/scriptwriter, Hashizume Riki as character designer, and the animation will be handled by J.C.STAFF (“Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?” Season 3).
The cast is yet to be announced, so let’s look forward to further information.
“Requiem of the Rose King” will be broadcast in autumn 2021.
