The nominations for the “93rd Academy Awards” have been announced on March 15, 2021 (US time). The nominated works for the Best Animated Feature Film are “Onward”, “Over the Moon”, “A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon”, “Soul”, and “WolfWalkers”.
“Onward” is a Disney work depicting the adventures and bond of a pessimistic boy with his optimistic older brother. “Over the Moon” is the first film by the director Glen Keane, the animator of “Beauty and the Beast” and other Disney works. “A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon” is the latest work of Aardman Animations Ltd.
“Soul” is a Disney work that focuses on the music and it was nominated under Best Original Score and Best Sound for the “93rd Academy Awards” as well. “WolfWalkers” is the latest work of Ireland’s Cartoon Saloon that has 4 nominated work in the past “Academy Awards”.
Do look forward to the work that will obtain the Oscar honors. “93rd Academy Awards” will be held on April 26 (Japan time).
