BD and DVD of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train”, which premiered in October 2020 and is still being shown in theatres, will be released on June 16, 2021.
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train” is based on a comic written by Gotouge Koyoharu and serialized in ‘Weekly Shonen Jump’. The 1st season of the TV anime was broadcast in April 2019, and this film picks up where the TV anime left off.. The animation production is handled by ufotable.
As gifts, the complete edition includes a storage box with illustrations drawn by Matsushima Akira who handled character design, an original three-sided box, and a ufotable original desk jacket.
Moreover, audio commentary by Hanae Natsuki, Kitou Akari, Shimono Hiro, Matsuoka Yoshitsugu, and Hino Satoshi, a privilege CD ‘Background Music Collection -Film Scoring Ver. Stereo Mix-‘, a privilege DVD containing the comments by the cast on the stage greetings and special TV programs commemorating its release, Mezamashi Janken broadcast on “Mezamashi TV”, and PV and CM collections, talks by producing staff, and a special booklet containing the edited version of the cast interview of ‘Visitor’s Privilege Special Book’ offered for visitors.
For those who place pre-orders for the complete edition, a screening party and stage greetings will be held in 5 cities nationwide, where the cast members will appear. If you order the complete edition of Blu-ray & DVD at certain websites/stores, you will be given a lottery ticket.
