“Fruits Basket The Final Advanced Screening Event to commemorate the Broadcast” was held on March 13. It was announced that Souma Ren and Souma Akira that appeared in the screened episode will be voice by Orikasa Ai and Ishida Akira respectively.
“Fruits Basket” is based on the shoujo manga that was serialized from 1998 to 2006 on “Hana to Yume”. The TV anime (all 26 episodes) was broadcast in 2001 and the stage adaptation was released in 2009. Despite the serialization has ended for more than 10 years, its popularity still remained the same.
Ishimi Manaka, Shimazaki Nobunaga, and Uchida Yuuma made an appearance in the online event “Fruits Basket The Final Advanced Screening Event to commemorate the Broadcast” that was held on March 13. Episode 1 of The Final was screened in advance, and the audiences who had watched it wanted to see the other episodes as well since the story development is close to the climax.
Also, in the live recording corner, the famous scenes in 2nd season featuring “Tooru & Yuuki” and “Tooru & Kyo” that were voted by fans on the anime official Twitter was performed.
The cast of the current head of Souma family and Souma Akito’s mother, Souma Ren as well as the previous head and Akito’s father, Souma Akira were announced in the screened episode 1. The announced cast is Orikasa Ai as the voice of Souma Ren and Ishida Akira as the voice of Souma Akira.
TV Anime “Fruits Basket The Final” will start broadcasting on TV Tokyo affiliated channels, on April 5, 2021.
