“Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou” A review on episode 21 and preceding cut-scenes of episode 22 “Village-Destroying Chapter, Part 5”
The preceding cut-scenes of episode 22 “Village-Destroying Chapter, Part 5” of the TV anime “Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou”, broadcast on March 4, 2021 (Thursday), have been released.
“Higurashi When They Cry” is based on a horror mystery novel game by Ryukishi 07/07th Expansion. It depicts the mysterious incidents that happen in the remote village, Hinamizawa-mura, in the early summer of Showa 58 (1983).
In episode 21 “Village-Destroying Chapter, Part 4”, once Satoko stepped in the festival equipment hall as if she was being lured, she was suddenly surrounded by a divine glow.
When she opened her eyes, she realizes she is in a place that doesn’t exist in the world.
Episode 22 “Village-Destroying Chapter, Part 5” of the TV anime “Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou” was broadcast on March 4, 2021 (Thursday), on TOKYO MX, and other channels.
