“Shin Chuuka Ichiban!” Yangtze is on Fire! What is Alkan’s Ultimate Fish Dish?! Episode 17 Sneak Peek

From the anime “Chuuka Ichiban!” Season 2, the outline and scenes of Episode 17 “Choukou no Hate ni” (broadcast from Monday, February 8, 2021) have been released in advance.

“Shin Chuuka Ichiban!” is based on the “Chuuka Ichiban!” series, a Chinese gourmet manga that started in “Weekly Shonen Magazine” in 1995.
It received a TV anime adaptation in 1997 and was broadcast in 80% of cities in China, along with Hong Kong and Taiwan in 1999. The series has been viewed over 600 million times in total on Chinese streaming services.
Set in 19th century China, Liu Mao Xing and his friends fight against the “Underground Cooking Society” that aims to take over humanity through cooking.

Episode 17 is titled, “Choukou no Hate ni” (At the End of the Yangtze River).
Alkan strikes back at Mao, who displayed his pyrotechnics he learned from Chouyu in his two dishes, with pyrotechnics of even greater scale, lighting the Yangtze on fire to cook up the ultimate grilled fish.
