‘The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation’ Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji violate “night-time curfew”… Preceding cutscene of episode 5
The synopsis and preceding cutscene of ‘Ja no Michi’, episode 5 of the TV anime “The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation” Zenjin-hen, have been revealed. It is on air on Sunday, February 7, 2021.
“The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation” is based on a BL novel which is written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu and has been serialized on a website in China. The video has exceeded 11 billion views nationwide, and Japanese dubbed version has been released.
Practitioners of Cultivational Sect suppressed Qishan Wen Sect, who know much about violence, at Sunshot Campaign. Wei Wuxian contributed to the campaign, but the power of the dark path was so strong that he has gone to his fate.
After 13 years have passed, Wei Wuxian revives using magic, and sees his friends including Lan Wangji. The story traces back to the time when they were boys…
The subtitle for episode 5 is ‘Ja no Michi’. When Lan Wangji was thinking about Mizu no Kai in the study on a rainy night, he spotted Wei Wuxian bringing in some alcohol. Lan Wangji intended to punish Wei Wuxian, but they fell out of the wall after a long battle, which made Lan Wangji violate “night-time curfew”.
Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are sentenced to a punishment of panel-beating. Lan Xichen tells Wei Wuxian, who was seriously wounded, to rest by the cold spring at the mountain behind.
