The collaboration of “Touch”, a comic featuring youth baseball which has been loved for years, and ‘Chicken Tatsuta’ by McDonald’s, which is commemorating its 30th anniversary this year, has been announced. ‘Chicken Tatsuta Setouchi Lemon Tartar’ inspired by “sweet and sour taste that brings back youth memory” will be released, and the collaboration CM will be on air with the concept ‘It’s youth to get lost’.
‘Chicken Tatsuta’ is a Japanese-style popular menu initially released in 1991. Ginger soy sauce flavored chicken, crispy shredded cabbage, and creamy spicy sauce are served on an original bun.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of ‘Chicken Tatsuta’, ‘Chicken Tatsuta Setouchi Lemon Tartar’ inspired by “sweet and sour taste that brings back youth memory” will be on menu in collaboration with “Touch”.
The collaboration reminds us of “those days” when we were spending our youth, featuring Minami-chan being indecisive to choose ‘Chicken Tatsuta’ or newly released ‘Setouchi Lemon Tartar’, while ‘Tatsuta’, a parody of Touch, is playing.
It is the first time that a parody of ‘Touch’ is sung by Iwasaki Yoshimi herself as a CM song.
The collaboration CM of “Touch” and ‘Chicken Tatsuta’ will be on air from January 26, 2021. ‘Setouchi Lemon Tartar’ will be on the menu from January 27 for a limited period.
