From “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time” (to be released on January 23, 2021), the newest poster visual, and the main trailer featuring a part of the theme song ‘One Last Kiss’ that Utada Hikaru wrote for the movie have been revealed.
“Neon Genesis Evangelion” is the TV series that was broadcast in 1995, creating a social phenomenon. From 2007, it returned with the release of “Rebuild of Evangelion” series, and the trilogy “Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone”, “Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance”, and “Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo” . The final film “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time” will premiere on January 23, 2021.
The main trailer has been released in theaters nationwide (with exceptions). In the video, the theme song ‘One Last Kiss’ written by Utada Hikaru, who has produced the songs for all the “Rebuild of Evangelion” series, was partially revealed.
Furthermore, the newest poster featuring Shinji, Rei, Asuka, Kaworu, and Mari has also been revealed. It was drawn by the chief animation director Nishigori Atsushi.
A poster with a newer visual, and flyer will be distributed later.
“Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time” will premiere nationwide on January 23, 2021.
