The broadcast date for TV anime “Dr. STONE”, scheduled to be broadcast in January 2021, has been announced along with the release of the main visual and PV. The broadcast will start on January 14, 2021, on TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, and other channels.
“Dr. STONE” is based on the same-name manga by Inagaki Riichiro and Boichi that is currently serialized on “Weekly Shounen Jump”. It is a popular work that has obtained an award in “Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Awards 2018” (2nd place in the comic category) and “Shogakukan Manga Awards” (Shounen Category).
The visual depicts the gathering of the Kingdom of Science led by Senku and Tsukasa Empire, and their expressions are overflowing with the intensity that shows the start of the battle.
The PV focuses on Senku and Tsukasa clashing with each other along with the decisive battle in the scale-up world setting. Various new character voices, including Saionji Ukyou (voiced by Ono Kensho), You (voiced by Nakajima Yoshiki), and Nikki (voiced by Tanezaki Atsumi) could be heard.
