It has been announced that Kamio Shinichirou will play Sonju, and Tanezaki Atsumi will play Musica, the new characters of the 2nd season of the TV anime series “The Promised Neverland” (broadcast from January 7, 2021). At the same time, the second commercial featuring Sonju and Musica has been released.

“The Promised Neverland” is a dark fantasy manga that has been serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” from 2016 to 2020 by Shirai Kaiu and Posuka Demizu.
The story is focused on Emma, who has been growing up in an orphanage with other children, and how they are heading toward hope while resisting the harsh fate. First season had been broadcast on Fuji TV “Noitamina” in 2019.

New characters, Sonju and Musica also appeared in the commercial released this time. Comments from Kamio and Tanezaki, who play those two, arrived.

Second season of “The Promised Neverland” will be broadcast from January 7, 2021.

Sonju: Kamio Shinichirou

My name is Tanezaki Atsumi and I will play Musica.
Look at the visual. That’s right, she’s a demon.
However, she has a very mysterious life, so I voiced her while paying attention to the nuances of each line.
I had read the original before I got the role, so I get very nervous every time I record it.
But… it’s a Musica. I’ll do my best.
