The Japanese dub of the anime “Mo Dao Zu Shi”, based on the China fantasy boy’s love light novel, will be broadcast on WOWOW, TOKYO MX, and BS11, starting from January 10, 2021.
A total of 21 additional casts, including Midorikawa Hikaru and Hayami Saori, and the information of the singer for the theme song have been announced along with the release of the 3rd PV and the “Zenjin Arc” Key Visual (Japanese Ver.).

“Mo Dao Zu Shi” is based on the China fantasy boy’s love light novel that become famous for the attractive characters and the delicate, magnificent story. The series has accumulated more than 11 billion views worldwide.
13 years had passed since the tyranny of Qishan Wen was stopped by immortality practitioners in the “Shajitsu Conquest”. Wei Wuxian, who had contributed in that battle and invited his own death due to his strong demonic power from the training, was revived via a sacrificial ritual by his ex-friend Lan Wangji, which marks the start of the story.

It was revealed that the opening song is “Senya Souka” by CIVILIAN while the ending song is “Kiji” by Aimer. Both songs were used in the 3rd PV.

The comments from Koyama Hidekazu of CIVILIAN are “This opening song for this magnificent story is born from the sentiment of the various characters, including Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji” while the comments from Aimer are “I hope this song can move you who are living now while the two protagonists get close to each other.” Do check out the high affinity between the songs and the work.

Anime “Mo Dao Zu Shi” Japanese dub, will start broadcasting from January 10, 2021, on WOWOW, TOKYO MX, and BS11. Starting from next week until the broadcast, 2 character PVs will be revealed weekly.

We have been given the opportunity to handle the opening song for the TV anime “Mo Dao Zu Shi”.
We were glad to handle the opening of the Japanese version of this work that is really loved by many and it has also gotten a drama adaptation and anime adaptation based on the light novel.
“Senya Souka”, as the opening song for this magnificent story, is born from the sentiment of the various characters, including Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji. For us, CIVILIAN, it is a new song for our band and also a new stereo image.
