“Violet Evergarden: The Movie” drew 1.3 million audiences! It has been decided to rescreened as a visitor’s gift

The currently released movie, “Violet Evergarden: The Movie” surpassed 1.3 million audiences on November 23. In commemoration of this blockbuster, it has been decided to be rebroadcast a visitor’s gift.

“Violet Evergarden” is a TV anime broadcast by Kyoto Animation in 2018. The rich, intimate, personal worldview and the delicate emotional depiction of the characters became a hot topic.
In September 2019, the spin-off film “Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll” was released in theaters for a limited period of three weeks. And now, the completely new work “Violet Evergarden: The Movie”, which is the final work of the series, has been released from September 18, 2020.

As of November 23, the film recorded 1,331,085 audiences and box office of 1,912,896,400 JPY. In all 10 weeks since its opening, it ranked 8th in the weekend box office revenue and 9th in the number of tickets sold.

Also, a limited number of newly written short story booklets and “A Postcard from Ecarte Island” will be distributed from November 27.

“Violet Evergarden: The Movie” has been released at theaters nationwide.
