It has been decided that the novel “The Pretty Boy Detective Club” by Nisio Ishin will be adapted to TV anime in 2021. The teaser key visual and the official website have been released.
“The Pretty Boy Detective Club” is an anime based on the novel series “The Pretty Boy Series” written by Nisio Ishin. A total of 11 volumes are currently being released by Kodansha Taiga.
The story is set at a private school, Yubiwa Academy, and centers around a mysterious group, the “The Pretty Boy Detective Club” which is rumored to solve troubles in the school on a non-official, non-profit basis.
The film is directed by Shinbo Akiyuki, who has worked on the “Monogatari” series, and the animation is produced by Shaft.
The cast and other information about “The Pretty Boy Detective Club” has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for more information.
